Chris is a Baptist minister and a former President of the Baptist Union of Great Britain. He has ministered in various Baptist and ecumenical congregations, served as principal of a theological college and published in spirituality, theology, ecumenism and worship. Peter is Reader at St John’s Church, Kimberworth Park in Rotherham. He is a spiritual accompanier, team member for the Art of Spiritual Accompaniment course and an honorary lay canon of Sheffield Cathedral. Now retired, he was a town planner with Sheffield City Council.
Mary enjoys living on the edge of the Peak District, hikes as often as possible and loves having Whirlow as her spiritual home. She assists there with worship and hosting and helps her husband, Keith, with maintenance.
Mary has served in churches in Britain and overseas, is a spiritual accompanier and had a career in counselling, supervision and training of counsellors.
Richard grew up in Yorkshire. He was vicar of Mosborough before becoming Archdeacon of Sheffield & Rotherham and then Bishop of Warrington in 2009. Now retired, he has returned to home soil!
