Living in God's World: the Contemplative Response to Justice

Perhaps global and local events have your mind in a spin....

Consider coming to our special Quiet Day on September 30th.

We will welcome Br Philip and Br Marc from the Community of the Resurrection, Mirfield, to lead.

They say: "We all live in a world created by God and are given the gift of life by God to live in this world.

"For generations, we have caused damage and hurt to our world; we have not cherished the gift. On this quiet day, we shall make time for God. Our hurting world needs to be loved and cherished and we shall reflect together how we may listen and respond justly to the needs we see around us."

The day will feature prayer, addresses and plenty of quiet.

Br Jacob arrived at the Community of the Resurrection in 2010. He is on the Mirfield Centre team, working mainly with school and college groups.

Br Marc is a novice of the Community. He worked for ten years in a boys’ secondary school and is interested in liturgy, the autistic spectrum and the ministry of people with learning differences.
