The American educator and founder of the Center for Courage and Renewal Parker J Palmer uses the metaphor of the seasons as a way to consider our inner lives and spiritual journey without assumptions about our faith, church membership and identity. In these four sessions we will use each of the four seasons as a prompt to consider aspects of our lives, share our insights and find fellowship together.
Led by Whirlow Chaplain Alison Richards, each session will include resources such as poetry, scripture and creative arts and will allow time for quiet reflection and sharing together in small groups. Whatever stage of life and faith you find yourself in you are most welcome to join us.
We will start the evenings at 7pm for refreshments, with a prompt start at 7:15pm. We anticipate to finish around 8:45pm. The ticket cost covers all four evenings. As the themes are developed across the four sessions, we hope that participants will attend all four evenings. The dates are as follows:
Wednesday 1st November
Wednesday 8th November
Wednesday 15th November
Wednesday 22nd November
