Exploring masculinity though poetry, questions and conversation.
‘I say there are human beings and human non-beings, a male can be either one.’
Benjamin Zephaniah
Because poetry provides us with a powerful way of framing arresting and stretching questions this will be a chance for and men and women to explore the masculine psyche.
These evenings in the company of Poet, Podcaster and Spiritual Director Adrian Scott will be courageous explorations of the nature of the masculine psyche. Adrian has spent twenty years working in the field of masculine psychology and spirituality. He also has spent the last few years reading into Jungian thinking around the human psyche.
Each evening will address a central question. In each session Adrian will present a number of poetic explorations and then help participants delve more deeply into their reactions. Surfacing rich questions will allow us all to leave the session with much to ponder.
The three central questions to be explored will be:
Is masculinity inevitably toxic?
How do men become grown-ups?
How do men find their souls?
It is strongly advised that participants book all sessions were possible.
