Sue is Christian Aid’s Theological Education Adviser and works with those responsible for ministerial training and formation across a number of denominations. She is interested in exploring how we shape a faithful response as Christians to the challenges of injustice, poverty and conflict in our world and how we can do the hard thinking necessary while finding inspiration in scripture and Christian tradition.
She is Roman Catholic, inspired by the Popular Reading of the Bible as practised in Brazil, a country she knows well, and by the readings of poor communities in the South that resource commitment to justice and peacebuilding. She is a facilitator, trainer, public speaker and preacher.
